What if you are worried about something you have seen online?
If you are worried about anything you have seen online or think that you might be being bullied on the internet you can talk to the staff at school. You could talk to your class teacher, Mr Bessant, Miss Vousden, Mrs Wintle or Mrs Ginn.
If you find talking difficult and would rather write down your worry, you could put your worry in the worry monster in your classroom and we will make a time to talk to you about it.
If you are working at home using Google Classrooms, you can talk to your teacher by messaging them or you can email Mrs Ginn using the following address: s.ginn@millrythe-jun.hants.sch.uk and she will get back to you.
If you are worried or need support, and feel unable to talk to your parents or school staff for any reason, you can receive advice and support from Childline (0800 1111) or download the ‘For Me’ app. Remember to ask your parents before you download a new app.

It doesn’t matter who you talk to or how you do it, as long as you share your worries.
Mental Health and Wellbeing
It is important during this strange time to look after our mental health and well being. If you are having big feelings that you feel worried about it is important that you find an adult to talk to about how you are feeling. You could talk to your parents or carers, a family friend or a member of school staff. At school, you could talk to your class teacher, Mr Bessant, Miss Vousden, Mrs Wintle or Mrs Ginn.
If you are learning from home at the moment, then you can contact your class teacher by messaging your teacher using Google Classrooms. You can also email Mrs Ginn to share your worries on s.ginn@millrythe-jun.hants.sch.uk or call Childline on 0800 1111
There are some things that you can do to help look after your mental health and well being. These include:
- Going outside every day for some fresh air.
- Doing some form of exercise everyday. It doesn’t matter what it is or what you do as long as you enjoy it.
- Eating a healthy diet and eating regularly throughout the day.
- Making time to talk to your friends. This is a little bit more difficult at the moment but a short phone call or facetime video can make all the difference to how you are feeling.
- Taking regular breaks from looking at your computer or screen.
There are also lots of exercises you can do to help you relax. Use this link to the Childline website find some ideas to help you relax.
